Budget Advocacy Workshop – Uganda

The Open Budget Survey team recently hosted a 5-day capacity-building workshop with civil society organizations in Kampala, Uganda . 

The workshop covered  the Legal and Policy Framework for improving Budget Transparency and Accountability, the Role of Parliament in the National Budget Process & Opportunities for Civil Society Organizations’ Partnership, and the Relevance of Audit in an Open and Accountable Budget Process. Participants were presented with certificates of completion at the end of the training. The event was funded by the EU Commission.
