Nigeria Strategy Launch & Research Findings on Gender and Taxation

Thank you for joining us for the launch of our Nigeria country strategy and the presentation of findings from our study on the gender impact of taxation: ‘Gender Perspective Analysis of the Nigerian Informal Sector Tax Policy and Administration: Sub-National Study.’ Conducted by our Tax Coalition partners, the study examined how tax policies and their implementation affect women working in the informal sector across three Nigerian states.

The event provided an opportunity to explore IBP’s work in Nigeria and globally, engage with our community-based partner groups, and contribute to meaningful conversations aimed at advancing equitable tax reforms, strengthening rural healthcare investments, and improving access to agricultural inputs and gender-responsive equipment for smallholder women farmers.
