Deji joined the International Budget Partnership in November 2023 and previously served as the Country Program Manager for CBM Global Nigeria. Before joining IBP, Deji have been supporting the empowerment of the most vulnerable populations especially clusters of persons with disabilities, women, youth, and their networks. He was the Business Development Coordinator and Co-Chair of ActionAid International Women’s Rights Working Group. He has experience developing and managing broad spectrum of projects from ideation to close-out from the intersectionality lens of gender and disability. He has experience in programme & project management, business development, grants management and disability inclusion in not-for-profit organizations providing strategic support to implement impactful development programs. Deji holds a Ph.D. in Political Economy & Development Studies. He is an alumnus of Harvard University Centre for International Development: The Practice of PDIA: Building Capability by Delivering Results, the African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development (Centre LSD) a Leadership Development, Strategy & Governance, Certificate in Public Leadership & Policy, at the School of Politics, Policy & Governance.
Deji is a Project Management (PMD Pro 1 & 2 certified). He is certified researcher by the Centre for Bioethics and Research (CBR); Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Program as a Social and Behavioural Investigator.
Deji is open to learning and loves to play with his children.
