Lebohang Liepollo Pheko

Lebohang Liepollo Pheko, South Africa, is a National Planning Commissioner and a senior research fellow and political economist at a think tank called Trade Collective and has over 25 years’ experience in cross sector leadership. Lebohang is respected as an activist scholar, public intellectual, political economist, international movement builder and Decolonial African(ist) feminist theoretician. Ms. Pheko is the Commissioner on the Walter and Patricia Rodney Commission on Reparations and also a Member of the International Network on Migration and Development (Mexico) Board member and Africa Regional Hub. Among her areas of research specialisation include international trade and international economics in the context of South/North relations, political economy, regional integration of African states, feminist and well-being economics, international development, international relations in relation to African positionality.
