Monica Laganparsad

Monica is a senior researcher at the International Budget Partnership South Africa. She joined in September 2022. She has more than 20 years of experience working as journalist in print, broadcast, and online media. The last six years she spent as a senior editor at an online publication before switching to research.

She has five years of experience working at a non-profit publication documenting the challenges of working class and impoverished people living in South Africa.
