Civil society in Burkina Faso has played a crucial role in sustaining budget openness despite a prolonged period of political instability and insecurity. This mini case study highlights how IBP and civil society organizations working through the COAB initiative adapted in order to keep engagement channels open, strengthen ties with regional bodies, and continue publicly voicing the budget-related needs for the people of Burkina Faso.
