Follow the Money: A Guide to Monitoring Budgets and Oil and Gas Revenues

This report summarizes the views and recommendations of civil society public budget experts, as discussed in an April 2004 meeting. The meeting and subsequent report were part of an effort to determine how the best practices from budget work can be applied to monitoring extractive industry revenues. The appendix provides a list of Internet resources for further reading and a glossary of terms related to budget monitoring and the extractive industry.
