Gender Budgeting

This paper by Aasha Kapur Mehta, Professor of Economics at the Indian Institute of Public Administration, calls for a reprioritization of the funds that are available to combat HIV/AIDS to better target those infected with the virus. It argues that gender budgeting could support such efforts and provides guidance on how to prepare a gender budget that meets the health needs of women affected by HIV.
