Grassroots Mobilization for Budget Advocacy

This report consolidates lessons on innovative approaches to citizen mobilization for budget-related advocacy from a peer exchange that took place in Cape Town, South Africa in April 2011 between the IBP, the Center for Economic Governance and Aids in Africa (CEGAA), and the Treatment Action Campaign (TAC). It is part of the IBP’s Learning from Each Other Series, and is based on the paper “Grassroots Mobilization around Public Budgets” written by Sanjeev Kaghram.
