Kenya County Budget Training Workshop Materials for Facilitators and Participants

These Kenya County Budget Training manuals provide a series of participatory exercises for trainers and participants who wish to advance their understanding of the role of county governments and national government in managing public funds under the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 and the Public Finance Management Act, 2012.

The exercises within these training manuals are designed to help participants understand that good budget decisions are based on reasonable justifications and public deliberation about those justifications; and the importance of relative changes and comparisons in conducting budget analysis, especially with regards to prioritization.

The entire workshop has four modules and each module has two to three sessions with specific task objectives. The guides below offer an introduction to the manuals for facilitators and participants. The rest of the materials available for download are organized by workshop module.
